Inclusions:

  • Stay onboard Taurus/ hotels/ guest house/ homestay, as per plan on twin sharing, MAP.
  • Indian veg food (we serve eggs) while staying onboard Taurus, morning tea with biscuits/rusks and evening tea (with a hot snack in the evening, on some days, if time and weather permit).
  • While staying in hired properties, you will get food as per the availability, if available then non-veg food may be served, all depends on road and weather conditions for the supply.
  • Hired transport as per the program for excursions.
  • Self-service camping with sleeping bags.
  • Leh airport pick up and drop ONLY as a group, where mentioned. Individuals to pay extra if travelling in extra transport.

  • Journey home to Leh and back home.
  • Entry fee to any place (monument, monastery, private property) in Ladakh during your program

Itinerary


Day 1: Arrive at Leh, stay in hotel.

  • Easy and best way to reach Leh is to fly from Delhi; flights start very early in the morning. Arrive at Leh by early morning flight.  Transferred to a decent midrange hotel for night stay. As per medical advice for high altitude, acclimatize yourself to enjoy your holiday without any medical hindrances caused by the high altitude.
  • In the afternoon, guests are driven to Taurus for familiarization and evening tea with hot snacks. Guests are driven back to hotel for night stay.


Day 2: Leh Palace, Spituk Gompa
 and Stok Palace. Stay onboard Taurus.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, your transport will take you to Leh Palace, Spituk Gompa to enjoy the commanding view of Leh town and the airport and Stok Palace. Night onboard Taurus . Enjoy exploring the market on your own.


Day 3: Khardungla
 (highest motorable road in the world), Nubra Valley, night stay in a guesthouse/camp/ resort .

  • Early morning tea from the kitchen of Taurus, an experience beyond words and any price-tag. This “nomadic lifestyle” with comforts will certainly enhance your experience of special holiday. The setting and infrastructure will offer what one has never experienced before and will become part of your folklore for life.
  • After breakfast, your transport will drive you over the world’s highest motorable road Khardungla to reach Nubra Valley, while enjoying mesmerizing views of the landscape giving you a feel being on a different planet. Enjoy your visit to the white sand dunes, one of its kinds in India, and you may opt for a camel ride if you wish, as extra activity. Stay in homestay/ resort/ camp, enjoy your dinner.


Day 4: Hundar 
and Diskit, drive back to Thiksey, camp overnight onboard Taurus.

  • Enjoy your breakfast and morning visits to Hundar and Diskit drive back to Leh, if time permits enroute stop by to visit Shanti Stupa. Night onboard Taurus next to Thiksey Monastery.


Day 5:
 Thiksey, visit Pangong Lake  and be back for night camp with Taurus at Hemis.

  • After a brief visit to Thiksey Monastery, hired transport will drive you to Pangong Lake. Enjoy your photo session at the lake to capture memories for life; drive back to Hemis where Taurus will be waiting to host you and your last night stay onboard Taurus and enjoy your dinner.


Day 6: 
Visit Hemis Monastery, overnight in a hotel at Leh. You may explore the market to buy souvenirs.


Day 7:
 Goodbye at the airport.

We totally understand that unforeseen circumstances might need you to change plans, and so our cancellation policy makes it easier to do that.
  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trip — full refund.
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the trip — 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days to the start of the trip — no refund.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions or any other unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of the host, certain activities during the expedition or the event itself may be cancelled, or there could be change in the itinerary. In such cases, the host will try their best to provide an alternate feasible activity or a voucher will be handed over (in case of cancellation or rescheduling of event) to you. However no refund will be provided for the same.

In case the trip is cancelled by the host for lack of minimum number of people in the batch, you will get a full refund.
