Valley of Flowers is a vibrant and splendid national park reposing in West Himalayas. Nestled in Uttarakhand, this alluring place is famous for its charming meadows of alpine flowers. Endowed with a diverse range of endemic flora, it is picturesque in its beauty. This lush region is also home to some rare flora and fauna. This place has floral pastures, running streams and beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Yellow flowers like Vajardanti, Potentilla Cuneifolia,Taraxacum Officinale, Bitter wood, Blow ball, Common Dandelion, Dughdee, Kan Phuliya, Karatu,Caltha Palustris, Marsh Marigold, Shomalap and many more found in Valley of Flowers. You may spot animals like Asiatic black deer, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, brown bear and blue sheep. High in the lofty Himalayas of the Garhwal region sprawls this enchanting valley. It’s a core zone of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. A colossal expanse of 87.5 sq kms and myriad alpine flowers makes this place a colourful paradise

Itinerary


Day 01: Haridwar - Joshimath • Arrive early at Haridwar railway station (6:30 am) and drive to Joshimath (transportation included) which will take approximately 9 to 10 hours. The drive from Haridwar to Joshimath is a beautiful one. The route passes through many mesmerizing views and drive goes along hugging the mountainside and you see the forests and valleys of Garhwal below you. We will also be passing by the panchprayag or the five holy confluence of Ganga - Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and Vishnuprayag. Breakfast and Lunch will be on the way at a roadside inn, exclusive of charges.

Day 02: Joshimath - GovindGhat - Ghangaria Trek • After an early breakfast we will head off to GovindGhat which is around 22 km from Joshimath (Altitude 1828 mt). Start trekking to reach Ghangaria (3049 mt / 14 km Trek) with packed lunch. Ghangaria is also known as GOVIND DHAM, It is the base camp for visiting Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers Overnight: Hotel

Day 03: Ghangaria - Hemkund - Ghangaria • Early in the morning start trekking (11 Km total) to reach "HEMKUND SAHIB". One of the most revered of all Sikh Shrines, The Hemkund Sahib, the World’s Highest Gurudwara, is situated at an altitude of 4,329 mt. In the afternoon trek down to reach Ghangaria for overnight stay. The evening is free for rest & relaxation. Overnight stay.

Day 04: Ghangaria - Valley of Flower - Ghangaria • Today we will trek to the Valley of Flowers. The whole valley is dotted with varieties of exotic flowers like Blue Poppy, Snake Foil, White Leaf Hog Foot, Himalayan Rose, Meadow Geranium, Dog Flower, Hooked Stick Seed, and River Anemone and other flora. The Valley is 6-7 km long, ends with a glacier. Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 05: Ghangaia - GovindGhat - Joshimath • 14 Km return trek to GovindGhat and then drive to Joshimath. On arrival, check into a hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 06: Joshimath- Haridwar • You will start off on an early morning ride downhill; Rishikesh-Haridwar will be reached at sundown, around 6 in the evening. Breakfast and Lunch will be on the way at a roadside inn, exclusive of charges.

We totally understand that unforeseen circumstances might need you to change plans, and so our cancellation policy makes it easier to do that.
  • Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trip — full refund.
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 15 days to the start of the trip — 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days to the start of the trip — no refund.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions or any other unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of the host, certain activities during the expedition or the event itself may be cancelled, or there could be change in the itinerary. In such cases, the host will try their best to provide an alternate feasible activity or a voucher will be handed over (in case of cancellation or rescheduling of event) to you. However no refund will be provided for the same.

In case the trip is cancelled by the host for lack of minimum number of people in the batch, you will get a full refund.
