Ziro Festival of Music 2022

Inclusions for Only Camping Package:

• 4 night accommodation in dome tents (3 man tent - 6.5ft x 6.5ft) on double sharing basis.
• Breakfast for 4 days (excluding 29th September).
• Dinner for 4 days (excluding 3rd October).
• Sleeping bags, sleeping mats and air pillows.
• Electricity source with charging points (Specific time slots will be allotted at the campsite).
• Clean and hygienic toilets and bathrooms.
• Luggage Room.
• 24-hour water supply.
• Bonfire.
• Campsite jam sessions with local musicians.

Additional Inclusions if you book Guwahati to Guwahati:

• Festival Pass for 4 days.
• Inner Line Permits for entering Arunachal Pradesh.
• Train Ticket (Sleeper class) from Guwahati to Naharlagun (to and fro).
• Bus/Sumo from Naharlagun to Campsite (to and fro).

Exclusions:

• Flights
• Individual Tents. It will be available with an additional charge.
• Lunch.
• Anything not mentioned in inclusions.
• Excess stay & meals due to bad weather conditions/strikes, resulting in flight delays or any other form of transport.

We would highly advise booking the complete Guwahati to Guwahati package due to the following reasons:

• Our representative will help you from Guwahati Railway Station itself which will ensure a smoother journey towards Ziro.
• Getting Inner Line Permits for entering Arunachal Pradesh gets very tough during Ziro Festival of Music due to the sudden influx of tourists. We might not be able to help you get it at the last moment in case you are unable to get them yourself.
• Taxi's from Naharlagun to Ziro are hard to get during Ziro Festival of Music due to the spike in demand. They sometimes charge exorbitant prices and you might not find a cab easily at the last moment.
• We ease the process of getting your festival passes at the box office. There is generally a huge queue to collect the passes, and you can avoid that by booking with us.

Itinerary for Ziro Festival of Music 2022:

28 Sept: Reach Guwahati Railway Station by 8 PM. The train to Naharlagun leaves at 9:20 PM.

29 Sept: Upon reaching Naharlagun, we head for a 3-4 hour ride to Ziro in Festival Bus/Sumo. Relax at the campsite and head to the festival once you reach Ziro.

30 Sept - 2 Oct: Explore the valley, make new friends and discover new music everyday. We have curated a guided cultural tour to an Apatani household, fishing experience in rice fields and jamming sessions at the campsite at no extra cost.

3 Oct: We will leave for Naharlagun post breakfast and from there will board the train to Guwahati. Guests are advised to book any flight post 12 noon on 4th October.

Arunachal Pradesh falls under restricted area, official permission is required to enter the state, and therefore the visitors other than natives of Arunachal Pradesh are required to obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. You have to provide scanned copy of valid government authorised identity card along with your passport sized photo. PAN card is not Valid.

Similarly, all foreign nationals are required to obtain Protected Area Permit (PAP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh. You have to provide scanned copy of your passport along with your passport sized photo.

You can expect nights to be a little chilly and it is best to be prepared for any chances of rain. Almost all editions of Ziro Festival have had rainfall. You can carry a light winter jacket, raincoat/umbrella, insect repellent, portable charger, headlamp, foldable chair and a dry bag for your valuables.

You can also carry gum boots, but they are not really essential since our campsite doesn't get mushy due to its location and the path to the festival ground is also mud-free.

50% money will be refunded if cancellations are made before 10th August. No refund after 10th August.

The organizers reserve the right to withdraw all services and evict any camper without refund at any time if the actions are deemed to be in violation of camp rules. Camp rules are as follows:

• Check out time is 11:00 hours.
• Slot at the campsite will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
• Only campers who have booked online are allowed at the campsite. If you intend to bring a guest, you have to notify us in advance and a decision will be taken accordingly.
• All guests must have government authorized valid Identity Card to check in.
• Guests are requested to respect the local traditions and customs.
• We do not take responsibility for any refund arising out of any natural or man-made calamities that may occur.
• We won’t be responsible for loss and damage of goods belonging to the guests.
• Any damage to tents, sleeping bags, pillows or any other material belonging to the campsite is subject to full payment of the product MRP with an additional cost of Rs. 500/- for every item towards procurement charges.
• We reserve the right to cancel, change the price, venue or inclusions with or without any prior notice to the guests if the situation demands.
