Detailed Itinerary

Day1: Manali to Khanol drive approx 2hours, then trek to Chikka(3200m), 3km and 2hours trek.

Trekkers need to assemble at Manali in the morning shap at 10amwere you would meet our team. Trekkers need to board into our private vehicle for Khanol which is around 2 hour drive. So this is where your trek starts with gradual ascent which passes through thick pine forest for around 3 hours and as the forest ends it leaves you to Chikka where we fix our first camp which is the best and safe for camping.

Day2:  Chikka(3200m) to Seri(3550m) 6-7km approx 4-5hours trek.

We will have our breakfast and begin today’s trek following the right bank of Jagatsukhriver with thick forest which gives way to boulders. This stretch of trek is covered with carpet of wild flowers and the treeline ends here, slowly giving way to Seri.Seri is a vast meadow spread out whose beauty each would admire. It was once a glaciated lake which turned to beautiful green meadows with an incredible range of herbs and alpine flowers.

Day3:  Seri(3550m) to Tainta(4100m) 6km approx 5hours trek.

Today is the day when we would get ample time to rest, relax and acclimatize ourselves, as the trek starts with easy walking across flat section of the meadow. Today’s trek includes adventure of crossing few gushing river streams and few steep climbs to boulders which would lead to moraine field. We would set our camp here and today is the day when we would get glimpse of DeoTibba from our campsite, followed by acclimatization and overnight stay.

Day4: Tainta(4100m) to Chota Chandertal(4680m) and back to Tainta. Its 6-7km approx and its take time 5-6hours.

Today we need to wake up early and start for the day carrying daysack with just water bottle and packed lunch leaving everything back to our respective tents. We need to reach up high to high altitude lake mini Chandertal which requires trek through moraines with uphill features where final stretch is a steep climb. DeoTibba will always be in full view throughout the trail. The view is so soothing that it would let you forget all the tiredness. Admire the beauty with lunch and later descend back to Tainta, followed by overnight stay in camp.

Day 5: Tainta(4100m) to Chikka(3200m) 11km and 6-7 hours trek.

We will trek back from Tainta to Chikka today, so get ready after breakfast we would proceed descending towards Chikka. Have lunch at Dudupathar followed by overnight stay in camp.

Day6: Chikka to back to Khanol  2hours trek and drive to Manali.

Today would be our final day of trekking where we trek back to Khanol which was out starting point and later drive back Manali via Jagatsukh and this marks end to the beautiful trek with unforgettable memories.
