  • IMPORTANT NOTES
  • We have kept a buffer day in this itinerary. We will only charge for buffer day (INR 3000 per person) in case we use it during the trek. This is to account for any weather-related delays or if a team is tired and needs an extra day to push to a camp. If we reach at Lukla on Day 13, we will not charge for the buffer day but you will have to bear the expenses (food and stay) on your own for that extra day (Day 14). The money will be collected by your trek leader only if we use the buffer day.
  • Weather plays a very big role in the running of this trek. Flights to Lukla are a fair-weather friend. A cloud covering a mountain ridge can shut down the entire airport! Hence we suggest to keep a day in Kathmandu as a buffer for your return international flight. If in extreme case, you miss your international flight from Kathmandu or internal flights, we will render all assistance, but cannot be held liable for any extra cost incurred.
  • Kindly ensure that you arrive at Kathamandu before afternoon on Day 1 so you can rest well before departure to Lukla.
  • The Lukla flights can either be from Kathmandu or Ramechhap. If the airport is changed to Ramechhap, which is around 130km from Kathmandu, we will have to leave very early in the morning.
  • Fares for Internal flights (Kathmandu/Ramechhap - Lukla) and Permits are different for SAARC nationals and foreign nationals. This price is for Indian Nationals. Final price for the trek for foreign nationals will vary.
  • Carrying baggage limit for Kathmandu/Ramechhap-Lukla flight sector is 10kg and the hand baggage limit is 5kg.
  • It is mandatory to get yourself a travel, risk and accident insurance
  • Please note that there is a culture of tipping the guide and porters in Nepal and they expect it after the end of the trek.
  • At Tea houses, there will be mainly common Toilets on sharing basis and attach bathroom in some places, blankets are provided and running water is available. Majority of tea houses have cold showers, some provide hot water at an additional cost. Some tea houses have electricity where you can charge your appliances (mobile phones & cameras) at an additional cost.

Inclusions:

  • Two nights stay in Kathmandu (3 Star property) on twin sharing basis
  • Internal flights, Kathmandu / Ramechhap to Lukla sector
  • 1 porter between two trekkers (Personal baggage limit is 10kg)

Everest Base Camp Trek is like Meccca for the trekkers all over the world. It is one of the best choices for the first timers in Nepal. You get close encounters with majestic Himalayan Ranges and eight thousander peaks such as Mt. Everest (of course!), Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Makalu which will surely give you goose bumps! The view of Everest and Khumbu icefall from Kala Pathar’s summit is one of the high points.
