PanwaliKantha is situated at 3963m altitude, it is one of the well-known bugyal and one can enjoy the beautiful view of Himalayan Peaks and it is also best for sunset view. The trek passes through open grasslands and undulating slopes studded with thick forests of deodar, pine and rhododendron and an amazing variety of Himalayan wildflowers as well as affording unparalleled panoramic views. In ancient time this trek is used by pilgrim while coming from Gangotri to Kedarnath. This trek can be approached from three sides either from Uttarkashi, TriyugiNaryan or from Ghuttu.
