A trek to Chanderkhani pass, Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh is moderately tough but the most beautiful and exciting trek because what's waiting ahead is sheer bliss. Located at an altitude of 12000 feet, it takes you through the forest of walnut, wild cherry, blue pine, and deodar. And, offers a jaw-dropping view of Deo Tibba, Pir Panjal and Parvati range of the Himalayan Mountains. The easy trails take you to the remote villages and introduce you to the unique culture of Himachal Pradesh.

Reach Rumsu Base camp by 12:00 Noon, our representative will welcome you upon arrival. Upon arrival at base camp, a welcome drink will be served and you complete the registration details. Rumsu is an ancient village in Kullu valley, famous for its traditional values despite being more than 1000 years old civilization. We will be taking you for an acclimatization walk around the base camp. We will make you walk for approx. 2 km to ensure your body accustomed to the terrain and walking at higher altitudes, which will help with your actual trek.

Here we will give you:

  • An orientation session about the trek details.
  • Trek preparations.
  • Walking techniques.
  • And backpack packing.

After breakfast, we will start the trek to NAYA TAPRROO. The trek will be a steady climb; we will walk through the forest of conifer to the alpine meadows. It will take us approximately 7 hours to reach there. At night, we will stay in camps.

Again after breakfast, we will start our journey to the breath-taking Chanderkhani pass. It's a magnificent trail offers you the jaw-dropping view of Pir Panjal, Dhauladhar range and Parvati valley. Reaching Chanderkhani pass and enjoying the divine view of cloud covered mountains, we will stay there for some time to cherish its heavenly beauty and then we will descend towards Chaklani base camp and call it a day.

Early morning we will retrace our steps to Rumsu, which we will reach by late afternoon. And from there board a Jeep to Patlikuhl. We recommend planning your return from there as late as possible to keep enough time in hand.
