Khangchendzonga National Park

Khangchendzonga National Park (KNP), also known by the name of Kanchenjunga Biosphere Reserve, has appeared in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in July 2016 and is recognized as a "Mixed Heritage Site". Needless to say, the national park was given its name from the famous Kanchenjunga Mountain, the third highest mountain in the world.

KNP is an amalgamation of significant cultural and natural factors. One can witness the 20 breathtaking peaks that are above 6,000 meters within the national park and fascinating varieties of flora and fauna. The place is culturally enriched as well — one can have a relishing experience here by witnessing sacred lakes and divine monasteries.
